The Sleep Nurturer - Transforming Sleep for Your Family
Personalised, responsive sleep support from a qualified sleep consultant, former teacher and Deputy Head.

Struggling with your child’s sleep and not sure why?
If your child is struggling with sleep, I help you make sense of what is happening and move towards more settled nights. This might look like frequent night waking, difficulty settling, relying on you to fall asleep, long or unpredictable bedtimes, very early mornings, or needing your presence through the night.
Sleep challenges can affect the whole family. They often show up alongside inconsistent naps and daytime sleep, adding to exhaustion and uncertainty. These patterns are common across infancy, toddlerhood, and the primary years, and many parents feel stuck after trying different approaches without lasting change. If this feels familiar, support is available to help you move forward with more confidence and clarity.

Who I help and how I support families
I work with babies, toddlers and primary school aged children, including children where sleep is influenced by anxiety, confidence or emotional development.
Each stage of childhood brings different sleep challenges. In the early months this might look like frequent night waking, short naps, early rising or difficulty settling without close support. As children move into toddlerhood bedtime can become more difficult, with separation anxiety, nap transitions, night waking and early mornings often appearing together. In the primary years sleep difficulties are more often linked with worries at bedtime, persistent early rising, increased independence, or patterns such as co sleeping that have become difficult to change.
Rather than applying fixed methods or one size fits all programmes I take time to understand your child as an individual, including their routines, temperament, emotional needs and stage of development, as well as what is currently getting in the way of sleep. From there I create a clear realistic plan tailored to your family so you know what is changing and why. The focus is always on making improvements that feel achievable in everyday life rather than rigid approaches that are difficult to sustain.
With a background as a teacher and Deputy Head I also consider the wider picture around sleep including emotional wellbeing, behaviour and confidence, particularly where these factors become more prominent as children grow.
