ABOUT THE SLEEP NURTURER, QUALIFIED SLEEP CONSULTANT
Hi, I’m Hilary…

I’m a Child Sleep Consultant, a mum, and the founder of The Sleep Nurturer. I’m also a qualified Primary Teacher with Early Years experience and a former Deputy Head, with over 18 years experience supporting children and families. I understand the real challenges parents face when sleep isn’t going well and the difference the right support can make.

I hold a Level 6 Sleep Consultant qualification (Distinction) and provide calm, personalised, evidence-based sleep support. Together, we identify the causes of sleep difficulties and create practical strategies that fit your child’s personality and your family’s routine.

Supporting families in the UK and worldwide, I help children aged 5 months to the end of primary school sleep better with tailored sleep plans that work in real life and respect your parenting values.

If you’re ready to see positive change, you’re very welcome to book a free, no-obligation Sleep Discovery Call.

I became a sleep consultant because I wanted to help others. As a sleep consultant I have the knowledge and experience to help. Qualifying as a sleep consultant required commitment, study, assessment. Being a sleep consultant also enables me to help parents move past the generic sleep plans that rarely work well for children,

My Approach
I help children sleep better by gently addressing current sleep challenges while also building strong, secure foundations for the future. This means you get lasting, practical solutions - not quick fixes or one-size-fits-all plans.

How I work:
-
I take the time to listen to your experiences, concerns, and goals.
-
We identify the underlying causes of your child’s sleep difficulties.
-
I use evidence-based strategies tailored to your child’s age, temperament, development, and daily routine.
-
You’ll receive practical, personalised guidance that fits your family life.
What I don’t do:
-
Use rigid or one-size-fits-all approaches.
-
Follow generic schedules that ignore your child’s individual needs.
-
Promise results that aren’t realistic or appropriate for your child’s age.
The result? Calmer nights, better sleep for your child, and more confidence for you as a parent.
