Sleeping Father And Child

My child wakes up needing me at night. Is this normal?

Morning Coffee Moments

My child is an early riser. Can this be fixed?

Bedtime resistance is often linked to habit, anxiety, or a mismatch between sleep need and routine.
Together we create strategies to make bedtime predictable, calm, and successful, without turning it into a battle.

Yes.  Older children can develop night waking due to routine changes, stress, or sleep anxiety.

With gentle, structured strategies, your child can feel secure and learn to sleep through the night again.

Yes.  Early rising is common in school-aged children.

A personalised plan can adjust bedtime, sleep environment, and morning routines to ensure your child gets enough restorative sleep.

Do you offer sleep training or sleep coaching?

Happy Baby Smiling

Do you use Cry-It-Out?

Yes.  Sleep-related anxiety is common in children who previously slept well.

Plans are age-appropriate and nurturing, designed to reassure your child, build confidence at bedtime, and reduce night waking.

I offer a blend of both, which is often the most effective way to help children who used to sleep well but are now waking at night or rising too early.

I work with you to create a personalised sleep plan based on your child’s age, temperament, sleep history, and your family routines.

No.  I do not use the Cry-It-Out method, which can impact the parent-child bond.

I use gentle, responsive strategies tailored to your child’s temperament and current sleep challenges.

Some tears or frustration can happen, especially if your child is used to your presence at night, but their needs are always met.

What does a holistic sleep assessment mean?

How long will it take to resolve my child’s sleep challenges?

I’ve tried everything. Can you guarantee this will work for my child?

A holistic assessment looks beyond just sleep patterns.  For 4-8 year olds, it includes:

• Sleep history and current routines

• Temperament and personality

• Emotional needs

• Family routines, school schedules, and extracurricular activities

This helps me create a realistic, tailored plan that addresses the underlying causes of sleep challenges.

Every child is different.  Most children see improvement within 1–2 weeks when the plan is followed consistently.  Older children may take slightly longer due to established habits or sleep-related anxiety. With patience and consistency, it’s never too late to restore calm, consistent sleep.

No-one can guarantee perfect sleep, but personalised guidance is often the missing piece.

• Your child’s plan is tailored to their needs and your family’s routines.

• Support is available throughout implementation, so you’re never on your own.

• With consistency and patience, families usually see meaningful improvements.

Do you work with twins or siblings?

Yes!  There’s no additional charge for twins or multiples.

Siblings of different ages may require individual consultations to address their unique sleep needs.
